Why can't they just fix the old games. It proves DTG are greedy. Watch Maverick Hunter Daniel on youtube, he perfectly explains a lot of problems in the train sim community, he reviews DLC, he speaks logic about ideas given.

Because the engine that train sim uses is crap. But somehow, they've messed up UE4 too, because the performance is TSW is apparently shocking.

@The_Growl, I Have TSW and the performance is dreadful and even though my computer is not the best, it can run the original Train Sim at high settings with no problems, I Just hope DTG fixes it for GWE but knowing DTG all they want is our money.
Where have all Arriva Merseyside's Darts gone?
    Johnny Depp
    somewhere
    Macauley
The Darts left the fleet come nearly 2/3 years ago now with the odd survivor also then being scrapped, only about 20 maybe a bit more left in the whole fleet and all of which MPDs
142013's Engine seems like it is going to conk out soon!

That's not so bad, they've been known to FALL out before! 142042 derailed itself in such a manner.

A Pacer sounding like its about to conk out? Nothing new there then, same as every other Pacer :P

Not that 142013 will last that long, I think they are being taken out of service in a year or two.
What do people think of the new-ish GWR livery, i think it looks quite neat.
    Blastella
I actually thinks it looks brilliant, the dark green makes it look posh lol
It definitely looks better than the old First Great Western livery.

Dynamic Lines was one of the better liveries I have seen, when it was rolled out and worn by First Capital Connect, First Hull Trains and First Great Western. The new GWR livery looks like it just came out of a sewer...
I don't have Northern Rail nightmares, and dare I say it, quite like the Pacers. NOBODY KILL ME!!

On my local line Blackpool S to Colne, it is crammed full of people in summer, i dread the 150's as they have less seats than 156's or some pacers. However some refurbished 150s are quite nice with a more sensible seating layout. However if it is a Merseytravel 142 i dont even bother finding a seat for obvious reasons if you've been on one!
    MrChips
    who doesn't like the pacers. 142 143 144s

Pacers are awful dogboxes and the sooner they scrap them the better! I thought 150s had 5 abreast seating?
If you have nightmares of Northern Rail, please do not look at my profile picture.

Personally never used Northern Rail, but I hear its better what we have down here, which is probably correct.

It works good enough for me but when you get to the summer season and you try to get somewhere other than Blackpool but the only train that serves your station is going to Blackpool it gets cramped. Even worse with just 2 carriages.Fares are cheap though :).

Old and ill maintained rolling stock, the difference between a Northern and EMT 158 is night and day. Glad Arriva are bringing in new units, extra capacity and binning the Pacers.
