I don't know why, but I've recently become rather smitten for Firstbus liveries on Presidents. I'm struggling to determine which one suits a President best.
Should've seen the Dennis Arrows First Somerset & Avon had back in 2006.

THE best colour scheme to ever exist, has stood the test of time well (12 years!) Totally not biased at all... :P
My 2 favourite liveriesThe whole thing looks much better, though. Wish I were around to see it.

I don’t why I just think it looks really goodGood man!!
I like the Brighton and hove bus livery due to the adverts. I dunno why it just catches my eye ????????????Photo to credit to buses.co.uk fleetlist View attachment 30272 blue to match the coast of Brighton and Eastbourne and green for the countryside of the seven sisters country park shame the buses are slow though
Oh wait, I TOTALLY forgot these two:My favourite two modern buses (If I really have to choose):
2006 Optare Esteem • Stagecoach 2000s
2006 Optare Olympus • Stagecoach 2000s
And my two favourite older buses:
1972 Leyland National • Stagecoach 1990s
(obviously)
1991 Optare Spectra • Wilts & Dorset X7
I couldn't choose just 1.

It reminds me actually of how few B7L/Metros ever came to Britain, after most were the newer Eclipses. Sorry to nitpick, but if you're referring to Glasgow's tri-axle jobbies, they're B7TLTs. Confusing, I know. One of the best BUSES is probably the Wright Eclipse Metro/Volvo B7L. There wasn't that many buyers in the UK, as many of them went to First, two ended up with Arriva, London Central took one for evaluation that subsequently ended up with Diamond, and Bus Eireann had some, one of which has appeared with Reliance. (There are more buyers than this but these are the ones I know, if you want to add any more please do!). They only appeared here on the Wright Eclipse Metro, excluding 15 that were delivered to First Glasgow with Double Deck East Lancs bodies. Here is a 66329, a 2002 example new to First Manchester, in its current home, Leeds.

The Articulated version, the B7LA, also did well in Mainland Europe, but in Britain it didn't really catch on much, with there not being that many. Here is 10036, a Bath example. Most of these went to First, as other buyers seemed to want the Scania L94UA, but that wasn't a big seller either. There were some B7LA's with Dublin Bus, but these have been scrapped.View attachment 33020
All these pictures are mine I should say.
I find that the B7TLTs are a mix between being odd and unusual, and being great and special looking. It reminds me actually of how few B7L/Metros ever came to Britain, after most were the newer Eclipses. You are so lucky!!One of the best BUSES is probably the Wright Eclipse Metro/Volvo B7L. Thanks, only pictured these B7LA's, only ones I've been on were Leeds' ftr ones which I hate. You are so lucky!!
I've only ever seen/ridden the non-articulated version (mostly in & around Weymouth). Sad to hear that the bendy ones were scrapped!
Top notch captures by the way, these pictures are really awesome, congrats!
Yes, the B7TLTs with their Nordic bodies are renowned for their great overhangs. Curious beasts they are...I find that the B7TLTs are a mix between being odd and unusual, and being great and special looking.
Personally, I've never seen one of those before, but I'm sure, if there's one in a radius of 30m of me, I'll surely see it because of it's massive size!
