Unfortunately, though she looks good from the front and sides, from the rear she's not such a pretty picture :(

@whistlehead have you thought of setting up a flickr account?

So anyway, some buses from my favourite part of the world (hint, it's not Manchester)

In 2014, Optare Solo SL PX10 CKU is seen in Portinscale. This was one of two bought for the 77/77A services which operate between March and October, which transverse Honister Pass. These buses are slightly different to all other Solos, including the use of bigger wheels and various other things to improve operation on these rather extreme roads by UK standards.

Dennis Trident V217MEV is seen in Keswick Bus Station on route 79. Well it's actually the 78, but it always used to be numbered the 79. This is the only section of the route where I've actually managed to do anything on yet in OMSI. It's also the main focus of the initial version of my Borrowdale Valley map. (the 77/77A will come much later as they are massive and quite difficult to map out).

And finally Dennis Trident S813BWC is seen in Grasmere with a rather horrid side advert ruining the look of the vehicle.

Today saw some of London's biggest service changes in recent times. Routes 35 and 40 both moved across the road to Camberwell Q Garage with new hybrids and route 345 moved the opposite way to Walworth WL Garage with existing Tridents (in the east both routes 62 and 368 went double-decker with Stagecoach and Arriva).

Here is one of the new Volvo B5LH/MCV eVoSeti buses, 20 of these were ordered for route 40. However, they are expected to partially allocate themselves to route 35, as we can see below with MHV12.

And then MHV10 on its allocated route

Route 35 is specified 22 AD E40H MMC buses and it's a similar situation with the MHVs, EH59 seen on the 40

And EH45 on the 35

Because the 345's buses, those allocated to the 35 and 40 just yesterday, aren't all ready for the route, the ex-3 hybrids are making up most of its current allocation. 2420 is seen here

And one of few refurbished Tridents for the route is also seen, 9442 to be precise

Although with an allocation of ADL Enviro 400s, recently the 184 route has experienced quite an odd mixture of buses ranging from as small as Optare Solos (with rather nice Alison gearboxes) to Volvo B9TLs (the buses which were replaced by the E400s back in 2012 on the 180/184 'Purple Line' Overground route).

40335 is seen climbing Copster Hill on an evening journey.

30956 is seen coasting down the same hill with a rather camera shy driver.

67415 is seen on Lord Street in Oldham Town Centre.

37550 is seen on diversion in Oldham Town Centre while the bus station is closed for 'essential carriageway repairs'.
