Pic 3-An old (very old indeed!) B10M(?) coach I snapped while by the sea.

Pic 2-A good Class 170 Turbostar I saw while waiting for my Euston Pendolino at Wolverhampton.

Pic 1-An NRM I caught later the same day as when I saw the unsung hero (thy Turbostar). The weather got much worse. It went from clear skies and decent heat to horrendous winds and constant heavy rain. The NRM was also shot at Euston, my Pendolino's destination. I got quite a shock when I saw a Metroline NRM on the 168. When I last saw a 168 it was either an Arriva Enviro or B7TL.

You think that's old? One of my local coach operators runs a pair of these...

Bedford YMQs, I believe. Owned from new. The owner of the company is a preservationist who makes his buses work for a living, and they're always spotless :)

Looking sweet! I heard that the operator of that Volvo I snapped calls it the 50p bus (I would guess it's a B10M-50). Apparently, it's heardly ever broken down and they've never had to replace a single engine piece. I really do like that Beddie though. Livery suits it well and as you said, it looks spotless!

So on my way home with my camera. And a ex-First/Go-ahead London E400 shows up and still has advertisements dating back to 2012. I record this on the 07/05/2016

Is that seat completely gray scale? I guess its to match the frame though. Whats the fleetnumber/Reg of this bus and where is it located? I might try and get a shot at it if its near me :>

GAL could've easily changed the seat frame and panel colors (more costly), Abellio are a prime example of an operator that does with their E400's look at the 345's batch for example, unless these are leased vehicles, then I understand. The grey moquette does make the bus look a bit off imo

I imagine by now most of the 191's ENs would have been 'refurbished', however, the number of them with their flywheels fitted - I'm not exactly sure.

Nope most of them still have the original First interiors and none of the advertisement have been updated. Also some of Go-ahead Volvo B9tls are still have their first livery.

I've been larking around with some more paint schemes for my dream Olly...

I'm trying to avoid the "belongs-in-a-fairground" look, but at the same time I want some intricacy to the design.I've also spent a while trying to work out the floorplan... I have the bottom deck all set out, though there's a potential issue with the positioning of the fuel tank clashing with where I want the bathroom to be, but the top deck is proving harder as I'm not sure how to make best use of the space.

As there's a substantial chance that I'll be dropping out at the end of this year, this may end up being what I have to do...

You think I haven't already seen that? :P I don't think I can do such a beautiful job on the interior as them (what with them being a professional carpenter and all), but one thing they've done that I intend not to is blanking out loads of windows, I really don't like the way that looks. Specifically, I want to leave all the top-deck windows and all the nearside windows open. I'm more OK with blanking ones behind the staircase, as in the livery designs above, because it just looks like an extension of the staircase blank.

Tbh it's been done loads in recent years

This is almost exactly the same as another one in Plymouth - young couple buy ex-service decker and turn it into a home due to ridiculous housing market. It's something I'll probably end up doing although I'm keeping an eye out for something that I can drive as I have got the taste for European road tripping now so am looking more at coaches.
