Hey All,
Decided that I'm going to post most Aussiex updates on here, the aussiex page will be updated from time to time, however I think it will be better to support the UKDT. Big thanks to Whistlehead for introducing to this forum, loving the format!

Been working away at the project and I have about 80% of roads in the game, 10/11 bus routes have been timetabled already and the main focus on the next month is improving the quality from the beta and developing the buses and scenery.

EDIT (whistlehead):
For those who don't know (doubt there's many) this is a payware addon in development which Rhys here has been working on for some time, and which will include a number of real routes and buses from London :)

EDIT (Road-hog123):
NOTE: As a result of a server crash during 2016, all prior attachments were lost. This included the screenshots at the beginning of this thread. As such, I've removed a little over 20 pages at the beginning of the thread up to the first working images. What's removed wasn't really indicative of the current map progress anyhow.

Could someone (if we know yet) tell me the route numbers and bus types that are going to be included with the payware addon?
I'm new to OMSI and can't seem to find much info about it online.
Thanks.
This was what I typed for the manual last week.

The 432/P4/45 currently do not exist in the add-on but have been included in the route list as most of its roads planned are currently already included in the add-on and will require small work (most likely during the testing phase for the map or after the release of London) to make them fully functional between the stated operating areas.

As I said yesterday, the 133/N133 will stay at Norwood in OMSI, otherwise Norwood would be rendered useless in 2017 out of all the routes included in the add-on

I would presume the timetables would follow the PVR of the actual route.
The PVR is slightly less for the majority of routes, they maintain their real life frequency, however in order to have the real life PVR/timings in the add-on, it would require tons of waiting around or alterations to the frequency of each route

@Rhys Is route 68 going to be the full route now then. Also whats left to do on the map ;) Great work so far
I'm currently working on Herne Hill and a few other surrounding hills.

what do the irl drivers do to select the N?
(Others, note how the question is about how the driver selects non-numeric route codes, not how they're displayed on the bus. The latter is obvious, they're printed on the blinds).
There are two ways a non-numerical value could be selected as a route code, either because the display controller unit supports values other than numbers (I know Hanover's Deric+ unit supports them) so you just type them in, or you have a route-based (as opposed to destination-based) system which allows the driver to set the numeric part of the route code (e.g. for "N3" you'd just enter "3") and then N3 destinations included in the destinations that are part of route 3, the display system being told to display N3 as the route instead.

Now, the latter I know is used in practise for many companies outside London that use Deric+ units (the Deric+ unit I have came programmed in that way). Things like "Not in Service", "Driver Training", "Staff Bus", etc. can be configured to be one of the destinations of route 0 and the individual LED boards set to display literally anything, completely independent of what the actual contents of the route/dest codes that were entered or the name of the display on the control unit itself (buses near me display "Sorry I'm... | Not in Service" on the front display, "Not in Service" on the side displays and an "X" on the rear with the route "0" being displayed nowhere).

I'm not familiar with Mobitec units, but I imagine they also can support writing whatever you please on a sign regardless of the actual content of what is entered by the driver. :)
