I personally find most modern buses noisy especially on same deck as the engine, and uncomfortable some with thin pads on a plastic moulding.
If your body does not bare resemblance to the European manikin used to form the seat pan you are on a hiding to nothing of sitting with some comfort.
The other thing especially with bonded glazing on double deck models, is that the whole side of the bus becomes live with vibrations linked to the engine & transmissions.
With these points being across a whole range of vehicles my choice of worst bus is somewhat different. The LT RLH class on the 230 route in Wealdstone, the low height version
combined with smallish windows made these very dark & dingy especially in winter. The other down points being having to play musical chairs on the upper deck 4 abreast seating
which was great fun when it was wet, the last point was if you sat on the drivers side on the lower deck you had to remember to DUCK!!
